• We are holding an afternoon tea focal event at the town hall on 24th June. This is a free of charge event and is targeted at members of the armed forces family.
• The event is relevant to today’s serving Armed forces. We are working closely with Peninsula Barracks in Warrington, located on O’Leary Street (WA2 7QS) . The Barracks are a key military installation currently serving as the headquarters for the 75 Engineer Regiment (Volunteers).
• The event will show WBC’s support for men and women of Warrington who make up the armed forces community. The Mayor, the Cllr Lead for Veterans and the armed forces community and the Warrington Armed forces partnership will all attend.
