Weymouth proudly hosts a weekend celebration honouring our Armed Forces—past, present, and future—on
Friday 19th, Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st, and Monday 22nd June 2026.
This annual event recognises the dedication of serving personnel and veterans, highlights the work of veterans’ associations, and provides the public with an opportunity to learn more about military life.
Charity and awareness stands will offer support services for veterans and their families.
Friday 19th June – Armour & Embarkation military history evening display on Weymouth Seafront -Approximate timings 7-9pm
Saturday 20th June – A historic military vehicle display on Weymouth Seafront invites visitors to explore these vehicles up close and hear their stories. The day will also feature live music from the era and awareness stands. Approx. timings: 10 am – 3 pm.
Sunday 21st June – The Armed Forces and Veterans Service and Parade will take place along the seafront, uniting the community in remembrance and appreciation.
Monday 22nd June – The Armed Forces flag will be raised in tribute.
